KARMA what goes around-comes around

KARMA what goes around -comes around
I have a series of paintings that are of the cosmos, some which are inspired by pictures captured by the NASA Hubble spacecraft others just from imagination.  This one is inspired by the pictures from the Hubble.  I am drawn to the spiritual realm and let the energy of the universe flow through my brush and I choose to name my paintings with a play on the word and its many meanings.

We and Thee Father by C. Harrison

I am adding this little painting to my website. I  love working with pastels,
however they aren't easy to photograph.  The painting is very soft looking
and didn't come out that way in the photos.  This painting is special to me because
it is of my two kitties (Gabriel and Appolo) and I in spirit, in our heavenly Fathers presence.

I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Going green using recycled frames

Unification by C. Harrison

I am trying to do my part in going green, I am using recycled frames
and some recycled matting with my pastel paintings.  This is a challenge both in searching
for used frames in very good condition and matching them up with appropriate
paintings.  This way I can almost charge what I would have charged without them
 being matted and framed.

The painted word

Birth of Illumination

The written or spoken word has always been such a big part of my life.

Authors such as Richard Bach, (who wrote JonathanLivingston Seagull,

Illusions and many more great books), Kahlil Gibran , Eckhart Tolle and

Guy Finley have truly inspired me to stay present and to be in touch with

my feelings. The word has also influenced my art and plays an important

role in the creation that emerges on the blank canvas's . My series on

String theory were inspired by articles I have read and that I chose to

paint my impression of.
