I am adding a new landscape painting on my website, the title is Hush.  This is a companion painting to The Silent Forest.  This is definately a wonderful memory of my childhood, playing for hours in the quiet of the deep forest.

I just finished the painting of the horse head nebula and I am adding it to my website, it was really tricky trying to photograph it.  I hope that the photo is alright, the color changes in the painting are very subtle so I don't want to lose the depth.  I am enjoying painting this series so much, my next cosmic painting will be much larger, so that will be a challenge for me.

I have just finished painting my impression of and adding to my website two new abstract string theory pieces.  I love the theory that we are all connected to each other and to all that exists by tiny vibrating strings at the most micro-scopic level.  This is described in Brian Green's book The Elegant Universe.
Somehow you don't feel quite so isolated or lonely , knowing about this connection .

I just completed two new canyon paintings, I really had fun with them.
I like to move between the different styles that I have, that way I feel
refreshed and more open to what comes through.  My enjoyment of doing the art is food for my soul, I love to see what the paint brush brings me and many times it is much different than what I had planned to do.  I am working on a new Universe painting--Horse head nebula, I can leave the Earths realm for a little while and play among the stars.
